I didn’t insult any senior colleague in the Super Eagles – John Ogu

Super Eagles player, John Ogu has denied reports that he has been excluded from the National team because he insulted a senior colleague.

Ogu last played for the Super Eagles in June 2015, when he came on as a second half substitute in Nigeria’s 2-0 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad.

He has however said he didn’t fall out with anyone with in the team.

He was also excluded from the list of players to be fielded against Zambia in the World Cup qualifier.

He said: “I am shocked to have read that. I have never insulted or fallen out with anyone in the national team, I respect everyone from the federation, coaches, players to the backroom staff.”

“I just want to keep working hard to improve myself as a player,” Ogu added.
