When Nigerians heard President Buhari would be speaking at the 72nd United Nations General Assembly, many raised eyebrows. Curiosity deepened when people heard the President would speak on the theme ‘Focusing on People: Striving for Peace and Decent Life for All on a Sustainable Planet’.
You see, on the orders of the C-in-C, soldiers had mounted an assault on Abia state, surrounded Nnamdi Kanu’s house, tortured IPOB members and destroyed NUJ headquarters in Abia state. Guess it was a fair question, therefore to ask, “which peace”?
