Intel Inside Nigeria: Number one chips company in the world takes Nigerian operations to next level

In a move designed to consolidate its presence in Nigeria, Intel has expanded its business operations with appointment of 7 Nigerian experts. It also unveiled a new campaign tagged “Create Your Tomorrow.”

According to its Country Manager Olubunmi Ekundare, the moves mark an extension of Intel’s footprint in West Africa and underline its commitment to supporting its partners and customers network in one of the world’s fastest growing markets with solutions and innovations that can make life easier and better.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Ekundare stated that the appointment and investment on new personnel is part of a strategic and gradual expansion bid. The fresh personnel will manage various business portfolios around Intel’s commercial activities and innovations in Nigeria. They include Adim Isiakpona as PR and Marketing Manager and Ogunbor Osagie as Corporate Affairs Manager.

In the same vein, the multinational chip maker unveiled a new media campaign tagged ‘Create Your Tomorrow’ through which it intends to connect and engage Nigerian IT consumers and youths via various campus activities, social media platforms, music and different intellectual engagements to help unlock innate potentials with the use of technology.

Ekundare explained that the campaign is borne out of the fact that Intel is not just a global technology giant and respected chip maker but seeks to develop technologies, products and various initiatives to continually advance how people work and live, and works with different partners and stakeholders and the community to help people experience technology better.

There is so much that is great and exciting about the Nigerian spirit, talent and energy and Intel with this new campaign desires to unleash the power to do more through technology” Olubunmi noted.
