The votes have not been counted, but it is clear, Labour Party candidate and business-man Ifeanyi Ubah is clearly not winning this election, save for some miracle. However, even he doesn’t expect that – and he has already demanded his campaign funds back from the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Of course, Twitter has robust opinions about the man and his request – and we present the top 10:
First, his essence (at least according to one tweet):
Ifeanyi Subsidy Ubah. Esele ego na Nnewi. The Lion of Capital Oil. The taker of subsidy. Dude brought a comic relief to the entire campaign.

Then, his electoral fortune:
Bia, is there also a political party called INVALID VOTES? The party has been scoring votes even more than Ifeanyi Ubah’s Labour Party.

Then, it’s free for all:
!! “@edumontee: Ifeanyi Ubah could have cleared Anambra treasury in two weeks. He would even convert everything to raw cash. Nonsense.”

Ifeanyi Ubah wants a refund? Wow! How come no one ever thought of that idea? Lose and demand a refund. Great one Dr.

Ifeanyi Ubah is not a second class citizen. Nigeria can’t treat him anyhow. #INECMustRefundIfeanyiUbah

Like they have stolen his subsidy funds!”@omojuwa: How is Ifeanyi Ubah feeling right now?”

I said it that, Ifeanyi Ubah will wake up on 17th November and realise he has been in a marathon malaria-laden dream. #Anambra2013

Beneath all the laughter though, it appears this is a serious matter for “Dr. Ubah”:
Exhibit 1:
No doubt about it, Ifeanyi Ubah needs the money.

Exhibit 2:
Events in the next couple of weeks will prove whether Ifeanyi Ubah actually borrowed money for the election #AnambraDecides
