Isn’t it time Lauretta Onochie took the chill pill?

by Wareez Odunayo

Many Nigerians have registered their displeasure on social media by slamming President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on social media, Lauretta Onochie over her comment regarding the health status of the president.

Onochie while reacting to the call by many Nigerians for demanding the return or resignation of the ailing President, she said, “It is disrespectful for asking to know about the president’s health status.”

But her comment was not welcome by the former aide to ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, who dropped some subliminal messages on his Twitter.

Onochie has taken the responsibility of the “attack dog” in the presidency. Anyone who condemns the activities of Buhari or Buhari himself is torn to shreds on her social media pages.

President Buhari is not your “homie”, neither is he your daddy that at every slight opportunity you reign insults and abuses or Nigerians who are concerned about his health. And who have every right to know what ails their president?

Aunty Lauretta, but you should know that it’s not every time you should talk. Kindly enrol in a crash course in silence from some of younger ones in the president’s digital team, or better still take the chill pill.
