It was another milestone for Iyanya, the ‘Kukere’ master yesterday as MTech, a mobile technology start-up, presented him with a cheque for breaking the record for downloads on caller-tunes in Africa.

The artiste who is currently embroiled in a love triangle saga involving actresses, Yvonne Nelson and Tonto Dikeh was all appreciation as he said thanks to his fans and all those who made the feat possible.

Iyanya tweeted about the achievement posting, “Mtech in my house to present me a cheque for breaking the record for Downloads on callertunes in Africa. Thank you all #kukere“

Surprisingly, in the midst of his celebration, Iyanya still had time to respond to twitter followers who were not quite elated by his rumoured dumping of beautiful actress, Yvonne Nelson.

He tweeted this to one of his unhappy twitter followers: “thanks “@Kophoworola_: @Iyanya You must be a fool for dumping Yvonne for Tonto…Omugbo yo nii?? Yh, it’s that painful! -_-“.

No sir, that won’t satisfy us. But for now, you’ve earned a breather!
