Jet ski accident leaves Usher’s step-son brain dead

Kyle Glover, Usher’s 11-year old stepson has been declared brain dead by doctors after he was involved in a jet ski accident on Saturday. Kyle was sitting in an inner tube on Lake Lanier when he was hit in the head by a 38 year old man on a jet ski, leaving him unconscious.

He was airlifted to Atlanta’s Egelston Hospital and he has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted. No decision has been made as to whether or not to take him off life support although sources say doctors have declared him brain dead.

To help with their investigations on how the accident occurred, Robin Hill, a rep for the Department of Natural Resources  (Wildlife Resources Division) has said the “Critical Response Team will recreate the accident on the lake to help determine what happened. Using special computer programs, they will attempt to figure out how fast the boats were going at the time of the accident.” Rangers have also been in touch with the driver of the Jet Ski who may or may not have charges filed against him once the investigations are completed.

Tameka Foster, Kyle’s mother and Usher’s estranged wife, who was out of town when the incident happened, immediately flew to be with her son on a plane chartered by Usher.
