The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu has reportedly got an appointment with President Muhammadu Buhari today, October 5, over his leaked memo.
Sequence:
- The Minister wrote a petition against the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Maikanti Baru to Buhari. In the letter, Kachikwu alleged that Baru was guilty of insubordination.
- The letter was leaked but Kachikwu described that as distressing – considering it was a personal letter.
