Yemi Osinbajo met with traditional rulers from the South East in continuation of his consultations on the agitations that started with the Kaduna Declaration.
The meeting held behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Osinbajo’s media aide, Laolu Akande giving details of the meeting said the Acting President met with “Southeast traditional rulers in ongoing consultations on ethnic agitations & exchanges from Southeast & North groups.”
In his opening remarks before the meeting entered a closed session, Osinbajo observed that both the position of the Northern youths and those calling for secession from the South East are against the nation’s Constitution.
