Famous Kannywood comic-actor, Dan Ibro, real name – Rabilu Musa is dead.
Musa reportedly passed away on Tuesday, December 9.
He is believed to have appeared in more movies than any actor in the Kannywood sub-sector of the Nigerian movie industry.
Rabilu was imprisoned on multiple occasions by the Kano State Government under the ex-Governor, Ibrahim Shekarau, for acting in movies which according to the state, violated Kano censorship rules.
The cause of the iconic actor’s death is yet to be ascertained.
Rabilu Musa became famous for his role in 2007 comedy flick, ‘Maidaben bagi’.
