Kelechi’s Quest, a new documentary series starring Kelechi Udegbe is asking the hard questions

Actor, Kelechi Udegbe is doing what many will term a yeoman’s job by asking the hard questions as he stars in a new documentary series, Kelechi’s Quest.

In the first episode of the series titled, “Adequacy of government housing projects” Kelechi spotlights the difficulties low and medium income earners in Lagos face in securing livable shelter in the state.

Kelechi, who is known for his work on Ojuju (2014), Kpians: The Feast of Souls (2014), and Nigerian Prince (2018) hits the streets of Lagos as he speaks with two Lagos residents, Abiodun Majolagbe and Femi Egbayelo on the availability, accessibility, sufficiency and pricing of government housing projects in different parts of the city. Kelechi takes it a step further by meeting with a town planner, Abdulfatai Anofi who queries the government’s housing project. Anofi alleges that the government has little or no care for those living in slum areas of the state.

The documentary series is directed by filmmaker, Deji Akinpelu, the series is supported by Arctic Infrastructure in partnership with the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
