Kyari, Oyo-Ita embrace, reconcile after ‘clash’

Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Winnifred Oyo-Ita have reconciled at the meeting of the Federal Executive Council at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

This came a week after both officials were seen engaging in an argument purportedly over the reinstatement of ex-pension boss, Abdulrasheed Maina.

They were both seen arguing before the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo after a memo written by Oyo-Ita stating President Buhari was aware of Maina’s reinstatement fee as leaked to the media.

They, however, exchanged handshakes and embraced warmly at the cabinet meeting.

On Wednesday morning, both officials embraced warmly and smiled for the cameras at the council chambers of the presidential villa before the start of FEC meeting.

Oyo-Ita went straight to Osinbajo and was all smiles and engaging in a discussion with him when Kyari came in.
