Are Lagosians really keen on environmental sanitation? (PHOTOS)

Environmental sanitation is an exercise that is held on the last Saturday of every month with the aim of keeping Lagos clean.

However, many have over time questioned the usefulness of the age long exercise, with some pointing out that most people simply do not take part in the sanitation.

So on yet another environmental sanitation day, YNaija photographer, Hycinth Iyereosa visited some parts of the state to see how and if people were doing the needful, the expected – cleaning, sweeping and disposing of trash.

But alas, other activities and in some places, no activity, held sway.
