More than 24 hours after kidnapping students and staff of the Lagos Junior Model College, Igbonla, Epe, the gunmen have contacted families of the victims, Punch reports.
It has been gathered that local vigilance group have started a thorough search for the kidnappers.
It was also learnt that the Navy and police have all escape routes on the waterways.
The kidnappers had stormed the school on Thursday and abducted 4 students and 2 teachers.
The victims included, Isaac Adebisi, Okonkwo Emmanuel, Abu and Jeremiah.
The English/Civic Education teacher, Lukman Oyerinde, and the Vice Principal, A.O. Oyesola, were also taken away.
