It was only last week that Senate President Bukola Saraki was acquitted by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) in a 18-count false asset declaration charge brought against him by the Federal Government.

Although the government has filed an appeal against the CCT’s decision, Saraki has been seen in Mecca in the days that lead up to the wrap of the Ramadan fast.
