President Goodluck Jonathan has arrived Abuja on Monday, 25 August, after a private visit to Germany.

His spokesman, Reuben Abati made this known on social media platform, where he shared photos of the President’s arrival.

Earlier, there had been widespread reports in the media that the president actually took ill which prompted his trip to Germany to seek medical care, but Abati denied the reports on Sunday, 24 August, saying that “the President is hale and hearty. In fact, he is treating files in his hotel room.”

The President was also pictured watching the Falconets play in the final of the U-20 world cup finals, which they lost to Germany by a lone goal in injury time.
