“The first story was that the boy was lynched for stealing garri, and now it’s a mobile phones and everything. I don’t care if he’s seven, I don’t care if he’s…. you have no right at all to lynch a human being,” says Tolu about the lynched boy. “This has gone on for so long in this country – Aluu 4 is still there. No one is talking about it, no arrest has been made so far…. I don’t know where we’re going to in this country. For the police to say it didn’t happen in Lagos… even if it didn’t happen in Lagos, it happened somewhere in Nigeria.”

Comment:See its amazing how we all sit in the comfort of our home or wherever to type from our phones or laptop or whatever! which awareness have we created enlightening people about jungle justice? all we do in Nigeria is blog look for traffic magnify stories, yet things remain the same as they are!. We preach jungle justice is not good online mean while most of the people that does this dastard acts might be illiterates and know nothing abt it. Dear you and i need to do something. see i have saved one or two persons from angry mobs and i tell you it takes the grace of God to calm and save a life from angry mobs. Let us make something happen and see that jungle justice is stopped and included in our constitution and should be seen as a crime. God bless Nigeria.
Hmmm… real sad. In my view, the age does not matter. Jungle justice is never the answer. My heart breaks for the victims who were also killed by this thief and his gang. But no life should be taken like this.
