Im sure we all wondered at some point in our lives why that character on our TV sets stare directly at us, especially when they are reciting their lines but then we laugh it off as these are the kind of stories you hear and you laugh off as a joke made amongst a gathering. Because that is what it is, a joke of some sort. Well this one man didnt exactly find it funny.
A famous actress is being sued by a man for staring at him from the TV.
Zhao Wei who is one of China’s most famous stars has been appearing in on popular series, Tiger Mom since it started in May.The actress’ character is described as “emotionally unstable”, giving piercing stares to her husband and daughter in the drama.
The China Times reports that the man has become upset with her intense stares and has accused her of causing “spiritual damage”.
The man is seeking compensation.
