Many stakeholders are, however, wondering how safe the citizens are if the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces is seemingly not in possession of the single most important information needed in the fight against Islamic militant insurgents wreaking havoc mainly in northern Nigeria – the status of Abubakar Shekau.

  1. The President's response was in place. He is not in position to divulge such sensitive intel info.

  2. he is been sincere don’t twist the issue writer, the only evident anyone need to know if he’s death is his body so once that cannot be found nobody will claim to know if he died or not

  3. Won't it be irresponsible for the president to make a statement about the whereabout of Shekau when he doesn't know? When the Afghanistan mountains was bombed in the search for Al qaeda leader and some section of the press claimed Bin Laden was dead, the then American president made similar statement claiming that he could not say whether it was true or not. Jonathan did the right thing
