Last year in Swaziland, a law was enacted saying that : “A witch on a broomstick should not fly above the [150-metre] limit.” Any witches caught violating the altitude limit will be subjected to a fine of R500,000, about $53,000. This quite strange but true as the issue of witches and wizards in parts of Africa is as real as it can get.
Some people are being labelled falsely as practicing witchcraft in places like Swaziland and are sometimes made to confess after which they are beaten and burnt or banished from the area. The Albinos in are not excluded as some of them are witchunted in several parts of Africa.
