Last year, TV presenter, Moet Abebe got everyone talking when she unveiled her boyfriend on Instagram – she called him Chris.

It was during Valentine and she gushed about how they spent the day together at at Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra, Ghana.

Fast forward fourteen months later, that is, a few weeks ago, and she got engaged or better still, they got engaged.

She excitedly shared a picture of her ring and captioned the picture ‘OMG I just said yes!!!! I love you baby’ on Instagram.

The TV star who is a graduate of Law from University of Manchester shared her excitement but withheld the name of her fiance – whom we still believed was Chris, following these exclusive snapshots that we stumbled on.

However, new reports suggest she is not exactly engaged as the engagement ring is for a movie role she is working on.

“She was actually on a movie set where she had to wear the ring and then after the shoot, she took a picture and posted it on her instagram, claiming she was engaged. What we hear she plans to do is wear the ring for the next three month as she doesn’t know how to debunk the story since it has gone viral. But she eventually plans to come up with a story claiming her parents did not consent to her marriage with her mystery fiance,” sources say.

When we contacted her, she  did not refute being engaged, she however refused to confirm who the lucky guy is.

“I don’t want to talk on my love life. I want to keep who I am engaged with private. Who or who I am not engaged with is personal,” she told us.
