Sunday Eze (pictured above) is accused of bathing his estranged wife with acid in Nnewi on Friday the 11th October 2013 along the Oraifite/Ichi axis of Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra State.

The accused allegedly doused 23 year old Ebere, who was pregnant, with the substance and forced some of it down her throat leading to severe injuries and her subsequent death.

The accused is still on the run but has reportedly called his former in-laws to beg for forgiveness.
