Five men have been arrested by police operatives in Plateau State after they were accused of forcefully having intercourse with a 9-year-old girl.

The suspects, identified as Richard John , Zere Adams, Hamza Musa, Ugochukwu Raphael, Emmauel Ibrahim and Sok Davou, allegedly raperpetrated the act in Jos, the state capital and were subsequently apprehended there. Davou is however still at large.

The men were said to have planned among themselves to rape the girl, a neighbour’s daughter, and while three men reportedly did so on the same day, the others chose varying times to play their part in the crime.
