Charles Oruru has confirmed that his daughter, Ese Oruru, who was abducted from Bayelsa to Kano, is truly pregnant.
Oruru, who made this confirmation on Thursday, also said the family is determined to ensure that the law takes its full cause on the alleged abduction of his daughter.
“My daughter is pregnant. Everything you read about her is true. She was raped. This is a case of rape because she is a minor. We are going to pursue this matter and the law will take its full course.”
“God knows why he allowed it to happen. But we believe that it will be better at last. I don’t want to talk further now. I will talk in due cause.”
Charles added that Ese is still at the Police Officers’ Mess and that he visited her in the company of two of his five children, 16-year-old Onome and 11-year-old Lucky.
Speaking on the alleged abductor of Ese, he stated that Yunusa never acted as his family’s domestic servant.
