My hit song ‘African Queen’ has turned into a good curse – 2face Idibia

It is also one of those songs that is so well known and has become an anthem for lovers.

Well, 2face thinks we should get over it, he says:  “That song is like a gift and a curse. At many weddings they don’t want me to sing anything else, and I’m trying to put it behind me and say, get over it, but hey! It still haunts me till today.”

Hey! Who will ever get over a song that has remained one of the greatest from the continent? There’s so much that can be done with it. So imagine master producer Cobham’s harmonizing Vanessa Mdee’s “Nobody but me” with it, to create a whole new song? Then you’ve got a mash- up that is a smash hit!
