Senate President Bukola Saraki says the legislature aims to pass the 2017 budget by the end of March.
“This month is our deadline to finish work on the budget and return it to the executive,” Saraki said after he met with President Muhammadu Buhari alongside Speaker Yakubu Dogara.
President Buhari presented a N7.298 trillion budget to a joint session of the National Assembly in December.
