President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, August 11, met with the members of the National Peace Committee for the 2015 General Elections.

The Peace Committee members, led by a former Head of State, Gen. Abdusalami Abubakar (retd.), met with Buhari inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Besides Abdusalami, other members of the committee present at the meeting are; Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’Ad Abubakar III; the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor; Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, and Most Revd. Nicholas Okoh.

Others are the Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Cardinal John Onaiyekan; a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mrs. Priscilla Kuye; and Senator Ben Obi and several others.
