Presiding Pastor of Latter Rain Assembly, Dr. Tunde Bakare, says Nigeria should return to true federalism where states are allowed to control their own resources, The Punch reports.

Bakare made this known on Saturday while delivering a speech he at the 14th anniversary of Foursquare Gospel Church, Asokoro, Abuja.

He said devolution of powers should be put in place, thereby decentralising the centre.

“The truth must be told, what we need are strong federating units but not a powerful centre. Let every federating unit develop at its pace,” he said.
