The final result announced at the two polling units at the Presidential Villa Saturday night saw the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan lose to the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, General Mohammadu Buhari as he polled a total of 595 votes to General Buhari’s 613 votes.
Gen. Buhari on the other hand, won at his own polling unit with a total poll of 499 votes while PDP accounted for NIL.

Also, the All Progressives Congress Senatorial and House of Representatives candidates won the elections in the Villa with the former being a total of 597 votes to 567 votes and the latter being 589 to 495 votes. However, his loss wasn’t taken too lightly as he owned this spot at the previous presidential elections in 2011 at the same polling unit.
According to a tweet posted by Anthony Ehilebo, a prominent PDP youth leader based in the Federal Capital, the president’s loss 19-point loss could have been avoided if his usually large entourage stayed over at the Villa to vote for their principal.
He tweets:
The Final count at the Villa is APC 613 PDP 595.. bear in the Most of those who would have voted for the president travelled with him. — AnthonyEhilebo (@AnthonyEhilebo) March 28, 2015
Could this be the reason why the PDP lost at the Villa?
I don’t give a damn
