Nigerians have the most hilarious reactions to tomato scarcity | Watch

BattaBox presenters, Odunayo and Kayode visited the popular Mushin perishable market in Lagos to talk to traders and customers about how the hike in tomato prices has affected their business.

“A basket used to be N20,000 ($60)but it now costs N45,000 ($120),” complains one of the market women.
But what has prompted the scarcity of a vegetable like tomatoes that should be available to Nigerians in abundance?
“It’s because some rich people are buying them directly to produce tomato paste,” replies one tomato seller.
Plenty of people had a lot to say.
Watch and enjoy!
