Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka has said he would hold a private funeral on the day Donald Trump is inaugurated as President.

Trump is expected to be sworn in as president of the United States of America on January 20.

Soyinka while speaking in Lagos said the funeral was to mourn the death of common sense in Nigeria.

“Our common sense is totally lost. I am embarrassed sometimes that I occupy the same nation space with some people,” he said.

He also wondered why Nigerians were concerned about if he destroys his green card or not.
