MDs fired, 38 managers retired, as Buhari’s broom continues to sweep NNPC

The rapidly sweeping broom of President Muhammadu Buhari is not done with the the Nigerian National Petroleum Commission.

The President, on Tuesday, August 11, fired the managing directors of all the subsidiaries of the NNPC.

Buhari also retired 38 top management staff of the corporation, reducing the number from 122 to 83.

The development was communicated by the spokesperson of the NNPC, Ohi Alegbe.
