Kwara State Commissioner of Finance, Demola Banu has said he has no idea how much Senate President, Bukola Saraki refunded to the state, Punch reports.

Banu said, “I do not have the figures offhand. Call me by Friday for the figure, if I have it by then.

Senior Special Assistant to the Kwara State Governor on Media and Communications, Dr. Muyideen Akorode also said he could not confirm the amount.

Akorede said, “I do not have information of the amount the Senate President has refunded.”

Saraki had said he has returned all pension paid to him as former governor of the state.

This was after SERAP accused former governors in the Senate of receiving double pay.
