Back2Base is the flagship event of D-xtreme unit, it is a platform for bringing young people together and strategically empowering them mentally, socially, morally and spiritually through a variety of programs including life-coaching sessions, word conferences, drama and music concerts, financial seminars, rallies, volunteer programs, skill acquisition trainings, mentoring, etc. 

The 2011 conference was the seventh edition with theme: L.U.C.K – Labouring.Under.Correct.Knowledge

The event climaxed with the official presentation ceremony of the books raised during our campaign “Sapele Book Drive – 1000books in 40days”. Nowe Alexis Isibor, 2nd runner-up of the Miss Nigeria 2011 beauty contest was special guest at the presentation ceremony. The Delta State library board was represented by the head of the Sapele library, Mrs Akpesiri.

The event also witnessed the launch of the Sapele Book Club to encourage reading, capacity building in literature and training, with the partnership of The Reading Room, Warrri, a not-for-profit organisation.
