We have heard many stories of cheating boyfriend doing everything (well, almost) to prevent their jealous girlfriends from reading through their text messages but swallowing the phone kind of sounds a bit far-fetched.

Reports say a 19-year old Brazilian girl, Adriana Andrade who was suspected of cheating on her boyfriend swallowed her phone to prevent him from reading her text messages – talked about keeping secrets.

Her boyfriend reportedly demanded to see her phone but she refused and swallowed. She had to be operated upon by doctors to get the secrets, oh sorry, the mobile phone out.

It’s a strange world we will live in… probably stranger in Brazil.
