Oiza X Meyi, born Eucharia Ojotule Oiza Abu and Eugenia Unekuojo Meyi Abu, are Nigerian twin artists who came into the limelight in 2020 after a viral video of them singing went viral. They are the daughters of veteran Nigerian broadcaster, journalist, and author Eugenia Abu.
Before going viral, Oiza was a theatre artist who explored acting and performance, while Meyi was a self-taught guitarist, visual artist and songwriter. After going viral in 2020, they became popular on social media platforms and even got recognized by CNN as one of Nigeria’s emerging music talents, and in 2022 they debuted their first single titled “Santi,” and continued to explore with songs like Outside, Vote, Eko, Jealousy, Mumu Na Forever, Unstable, Bounce, and the 2026 collaboration Love Letter featuring Lali X Lola.
Outside of being musicians, Oiza X Meyi have also become influencers and brand ambassadors for lifestyle and cultural brands like Grant’s Whisky, and in 2026, they released a track with Falz titled “Na Je.”
