Okiemute Ighorodje has won the ninth season of the MTN Project Fame West Africa.
The 25-year-old Linguistics & Communications graduate from University of Port Harcourt came out tops as she sealed a music recording contract. She also received the grand price of five million naira, and a brand new SUV.
The Delta-born singer who is a first timer at the competition beat other contestants after the eight-week competition as she performed Phyno’s “Fada Fada” at the closing gala.
Elizabeth, Kitay, Pere, and Dapo came second, third, fourth, and fifth respectively.
