Ondo APC crisis: Olusola Oke dumps APC for AD

One of the aggrieved aspirants in the Ondo State APC governorship primaries, Olusola Oke on Saturday decamped from the party to the Alliance for Democracy (AD).

Oke alongside two other aspirants had registered their displeasure over the primary which was won by a former President of the Nigeria Bar Association, Rotimi Akeredolu.

They had alleged that there were irregularities in the primaries but the party later declared Akeredolu as its candidate.

According to Oke, he left the APC because his supporters wanted him to pursue his governorship ambition on another platform.

“Having giving me the support to go ahead in this new journey, I hereby declared officially that I have joined the gubernatorial race in pursuant of my ambition to be the governor in the forthcoming governorship election of our dear Ondo state”, Oke said during a meeting at his residence.
