The debate for the governorship election in Ondo is currently ongoing in Akure, the state capital.
Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Jimoh Ibrahim, Olusola Oke of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), and Olu Adunloye of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) are slugging out in the debate organised by Channels Television
But however the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Rotimi Akeredolu, is noticeably absent.
In a statement issued on Monday by secretary of Akeredolu’s campaign, Kunle Adebayo, the APC candidate who expressed his regret said he was absent due to his tight schedule.
