Ondo election: Buhari made Jimoh Ibrahim PDP’s candidate – PDP Chieftain

A member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Board of Trustees, Chief Ebenezer Babatope has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of forcing Jimoh Ibrahim on the party as its candidate in the forthcoming Ondo governorship election.

Babatope told Punch that the President was trying to breed dictatorship in the state.

He further alleged that the disqualification of Eyitayo Jegede was orchestrated by Buhari.

He said, “President Muhammadu Buhari must be prevented from destroying democracy in Nigeria. The recent declaration in Ondo State has Buhari’s connections.

“The disqualification of Jegede, the Ondo PDP candidate, is designed by President Buhari and the APC to electorally manipulate the Ondo State governorship election.”

  1. Comment: I beg, can someone help ask Babatope if he can read between lines or maybe stop being carried away by wanting to take all and ask Ondo state people who cared about Labour turned PDP. I beg let him be reminded that our able president doesn’t practice anti party politics. PMB is am APC member (not a jump around politician) so has nothing to do with Ondo confused PDP
