The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has said President Muhammadu Buhari will launch the campaign of its candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu on Thursday.

This was in a statement by the Publicity Secretary of the party, Prince Abayomi Adesanya on Wednesday.

Adesanya urged the people of Ondo State to troop out to welcome the president.

“We heartily welcome the President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

“Along with them are: National Chairman of the party, Chief John Oyegun; National Leader of the Party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Senate President, Bukola Saraki; the Speaker House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara to Ondo State.

“The party also welcomes the Executive Gov. of Imo State and Chairman of APC Governors’ Forum, His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha; Gov. Solomon Lalong of Pleateu State and Chairman National Campaign Committee, Ondo 2016.

“All APC governors, National Assembly members; members of APC National Working Committee, APC Leaders, and other dignitaries, will be present,’’ he stated.
