Sierra Leone’s over 50 years of religious harmony is under threat thanks to the bizarre revelations of a young woman.
Sister Linda Ngaoja’s ‘heavenly journey’ a few weeks ago has turned her into the equivalent of a movie star, but at the risk of destabilising a country renowned for its religious tolerance.
The 28-year-old (some say 26) college student claims to have “died” and gone to hell before being taken to heaven.
While in hell, former Libyan strongman Muammar Gaddafi told her he wanted the mosque he built in Sierra Leone destroyed and replaced with a church.
She also has a message from the late president of neighbouring Guinea, Lansana Conte, who wants all the mosques in his country brought down and replaced with churches.
Sister Linda “died” after a brief illness. She said because of her worldly crimes in her previous life, she suffered a harrowing experience in hell, where she met her parents and a host of other renowned people including a renowned Sierra Leonean lawmaker, and the late US star Whitney Houston, “who are all suffering in Hell.”
All of these people had messages for their relatives and friends who are alive.
Sister Linda said if a “rapture” had occurred at that moment only five people in Sierra Leone could have survived it (meaning going to heaven), and these included three of her pastors and two other people.
While her audio tape comes across as a rich blessing for cassette sellers, religious leaders are left with the unenviable task of cleaning the mess Linda`s revelations left in their wake.
Breeding confusion
“We take and consider this our responsibility to judge every such revelation by the standard of the written words of God,” said Bishop Archibald Cole, president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Sierra Leone (PFSL).
He told a press conference on Tuesday that since the young girl was purportedly speaking from a Pentecostal platform, Catholics might think her revelations were the views shared by all Pentecostals “and so we consider her statements…..will create confusion and breed division among the Christian community in Sierra Leone.”
According to Linda’s revelations, all Catholics and Muslims are going to hell.
She also had a message for President Ernest Bai Koroma (a Christian), to replace all mosques in Sierra Leone, which is a Muslim-dominated country, with churches.
“We consider such statements to be inflammatory among the Christian and Muslim communities,” said Bishop Cole.
“The revelation has the capacity to undermine the peace and security of this nation. We want to maintain the peace and security that God has given us, as Christ is an author of peace and not confusion.”
But already Linda’s “revelations” are causing confusion as there are reports of bitter arguments over them.
Two people stabbed each other over an argument as to whether the revelations were true or not, reported the Awareness Times of Freetown, a daily.
But it is not just Muslims and Catholics who have reasons to be offended.
Linda is critical of the “born again” pastors in Sierra Leone who she said are more into money than spreading the message of God.
Her story broke on a popular religious radio called Believers Broadcasting Network (BBN), with the aid of her pastor.
Custodians of Truth
A member of the Faith Healing Bible Church, one of three churches that were endorsed in the revelations, told Africa Review that there is concern about her security because of her testimonies.
The Church has cancelled a special open prayer at the national stadium on this ground. The intention was to pray for Sierra Leone in light of the revelations.
They will be holding instead a 7-day fasting and indoor prayer session. This, according to sources, is backed by President Ernest Bai Koroma, who is said to have met with the young woman to receive his message.
A majority of pastors in the country see Linda as “of the devil” and they say she needs deliverance.
A few others express fear that her testimonies could spark forth a new sect, with reports of calls for a ban on the circulation of her tapes.
“The real reason is that Sister Linda had threatened to go over the radio and expose some of these pastors who refuse to change in line with the message she brought,” said Bernard Wilson, a member of the Faith Healing Bible Church, obviously a staunch supporter.
“It could be why the pastors are against her,” Mr Wilson said.
But others read into the whole thing infighting among Sierra Leone’s small but powerful Nigerian-inspired ‘born again’ churches.
“We as Ministers of the gospel are called to be watchmen and to be custodians of truth, and to be sure that the integrity and accuracy of the gospel is maintained… we are charged to address this issue that has the potential to bring distraction and obstruct the peace of the nation,” said Apostle Akintayo Sam Jolly, Secretary of PFSL.

That means far less than one percent of people in Sierra Leone were heaven ready. He told her you will not find this in the Bible. He decided to fool Satan. He told her he did not change one word of the Holy Bible. Please pray to ask the Lord if the testimony is true.
Many have heard of Mary Baxter of East Tennessee and the book she wrote called a Divine Revelation of Heaven and Hell. Jesus gave Ms. Baxter a guided view of Heaven and Hell. In 1976, she advised there would be many to follow her example. Sister Linda is fortunate she returned to tell us of the horrors of hell. She received a grand graphic tour of Hell. She thought sex with one or two people outside of marriage was ok. Jesus said he considers us as a prostitute if we have sex with one person outside of marriage. I am one of his prostitutes. He said if his preachers will not tell the truth he will use his prostitutes. She describes many in Hell and a few on their way to Hell. Some preachers will tell you this is impossible or a “near death experience”. Nothing is impossible with God.
Preachers are not telling the truth. They are not telling you about the horrors of hell or the wonders of heaven. They tell you what you want to hear, prosperity. Jesus loves all of us, but there is another side called wrath. Jesus tells each preacher each week what to say. He tells them to speak of Heaven and Hell. Very few preachers speak his message. He loves his preachers. He wants all to go to Heaven. He wants to warn you of the horrors of Hell and the wonders of Heaven.
When have you heard a television minister speak honestly about Heaven and Hell. God told us that during the end times there would be many false prophets. The Holy Bible not just the Bible means one thing to God and many things to men. Seek Jesus who the holy spirit teaches and not the Jesus man teaches about.
He said, “My heart aches at all the souls being led to hell by false prophets. They are the majority; very few pastors preach My Word. Very few preach repentance. It doesn’t matter if they have many followers or they perform miracles. Even Satan can perform miracles. Do not follow miracles. That is why I said in My Word that many will come to Me on the last day and say, “We performed miracles in Your name,” but I will reply, “I do not know you.”
Some of you know of the Azusa Street Revival. He appeared during the Azusa Street Revival and he can appear again, but for a holy church, only.
Jehovah witness’ have many people believing there are no ten commandments. Seven Day Adventist’s believe God will not burn you forever. Muslims at most believe Jesus was just a prophet. He told Sister Linda to tell Catholics to stop worshiping Mary and that believers practicing false religions will not enter his kingdom.
Rich people beware. First will be last if you make it to heaven. Many rich preachers refuse to believe. Give your money to the poor and follow Jesus. Your riches are stored in heaven. You cannot buy your way into heaven. Jesus never had a profit based ministry. Look on the internet at Reverend Park of South Korea’s (heaven and hell) youtube.com testimony. Our preachers refuse to acknowledge the testimony or tell the truth. Sister Linda saw Benny Hinn in Hell and he could not explain why he was there. Remember he rebuked the disciples for unbelief. God can do anything but fail.
Please, please, do not fall in scientific traps OR I do not know this person so it cannot be true. Sara was an old woman when she laughed. The Lord Jesus Christ told Sister Linda and Sister Angelica of Ecuador, he never had a church, he never authorized abortions, he never changed the Sabbath, he never worried about money, he never changed one word of the HOLY BIBLE, tithing and leading others to Christ are also important to God, and without praising God, you and I will not see heaven. The Sabbath day issue did not prevent admission into heaven but please do not spend money on the Sabbath. Many falsely believe they will see heaven because they follow the uneducated or educated preacher’s lies or someone’s biblical teaching or understanding. If the teaching does not follow the exact understanding of the Lord Jesus Christ, many will not see heaven. Over 98% of God’s People will spend eternity in Hell. Jesus is returning for a holy church, only.

He told people to go and sin no more. He can save anyone. But many of us need to find the living Lord Jesus Christ. He lives. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. We need to change our ways and pray and ask God for the correct understanding of his holy bible. You can be satisfied with your relationship with Christ and miss heaven. I am not forcing anyone to read this letter or believe this message, but I have no reason to lie. Why does Satan want to make sure you go to heaven or warn you of hell? Pray and ask God if the message is true. Do not wait to ask. Those who have working eyes and ears may understand. We know who holds the keys to heaven and hell. Please read the entire Holy Bible. A lawyer can argue any position based on the wording of the law but this law is written and enforced by only one Judge. Are you going to rely on the words of teachers providing false teaching or are you going to STRICTLY follow his written word and testimony?

Linda's message (revelation) should be seen as warning to all. The summary of her message simple "Check yourself and make amends where necessary". Another approach to her message is to apply Gamaliel law, Acts 5:34.
