Peter Obi didn’t suffer a heart attack, according to, well, Peter Obi

On Tuesday, there were reports that the vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the February 23 polls Peter Obi suffered a heart attack. Which he has now debunked in an exclusive interview with Sahara Reporters. ”The reports are false. I’m ready and healthy for court not hospital.” Obi said.

If you recall, the PDP and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, had jointly filed a petition to challenge the outcome of the poll which the Independent National Electoral Commission declared was won by President Muhammadu Buhari and his All Progressives Congress.

The inaugural sitting of the Tribunal has started today, with a five-man panel led by the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa. Sure, Obi attending the first sitting is enough to debunk the rumours about his health. And while we await the outcome of the petition, let’s take Obi’s words as authority.
