The Kano Emirate held its annual Durbar festival on Wednesday.

The Durbar festival is an event celebrated alongside the Eid al-Fitr. As part of the festivities, the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, and his entourage parade through the streets of the ancient city on horse, with musicians accompanying them.
