Operatives of the Inspector General of police special squad Wednesday raided the house of Lawan Musa Kwankwaso in Kano, younger brother of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Vanguard reports.

According to a security source who spoke with the newspaper, “heavily armed squad sneaked into the commercial city at the wee hours of Wednesday and were booked at Sharada police station for smooth conduct of the operation.”

The reason behind the operation is yet unknown but sources said, “it had to do with a business deal involving senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso where his younger brother served as a front.”
