A few hours after the multiple terror attacks on Paris, the North Terminal at Gatwick Airport has been evacuated.

A man believed to have a gun in his bag has reportedly been arrested by the police in the airport.

The UK Telegraph reports that Gatwick Airport’s North Terminal is being evacuated “for the protection of the public”.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police was quoted to have said: “The terminal is being evacuated at the moment. It is for the protection at the public.”
