More power supply for Nigerians as generation hits 4,285 megawatts

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on Friday said power generation in the country has increased from 3,810 megawatts recorded on September 8 to 4,285.90 megawatts.

TCN revealed that power generation companies were able to generate 4,285.90 megawatts and  had been transferred to the 11 distribution companies across the country.

Even as power generation has continued to be stable, most parts of the country still do not have regular power supply.

In the last two months, power generation has risen from 2, 983 megawatts to over 4, 000 megawatts.

  1. d qstns is; was it d rise in water level or was it d stability at d Niger delta that contributed? Can we then sustain this trend?

  2. is it a sustainable one? As soon as d rain is gone, we r definitely going back to our previous darkness, no doubt about that!
