President Buhari is expected to address the nation in a broadcast today, as the first phase of the gradual easing of the lockdown comes to an end. This was disclosed by Aliyu Sani, national coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 when he appeared as a guest on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics yesterday.
President Buhari is expected to announce to Nigerians whether or not the nation would go ahead with the second phase of the easing of the lockdown. President Buhari was given a situation report on coronavirus by Boss Mustapha, chairman of the PTF on Sunday.

30 staff members of a company in Oyo test positive for coronavirus
Oyo state government has shut down a company located in Ibadan South West Local government area of the state after 30 members of staff tested positive for coronavirus. The state governor, Seyi Makinde, disclosed this in a tweet over the weekend.
Plateau has discharged six coronavirus patients
Six Coronavirus patients have been discharged from the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) by the Plateau state government, after recovering from the disease. Plateau state Commissioner for Health, Nimkong Lar said the patients were discharged after clinically improving and testing negative for the virus.
15 more coronavirus patients discharged in Lagos
According to a tweet shared on the state Ministry of Health’s official Twitter handle, 9 females and 6 males, all Nigerians were discharged from the Yaba, LUTH & Agidingbi Isolation facilities yesterday. This brings to 623, number of confirmed cases that have been discharged in Lagos.
