PDP candidate, Osinachukwu Ideozu has been declared winner of the Rivers west senatorial district in the Rivers legislative rerun.

Ideozu scored 107,166 votes to defeat Otelemaba Amachree of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who had 48,898 votes.
