Novak Djokovic has recorded yet another grand slam win against arch-rival, Roger Federer.

The Serbian advanced to his sixth Australian Open final with a 6-1 6-2 3-6 6-3 victory over his Swiss counterpart.

The world number one dominated the first two sets with some superb hitting, then had to hold off a spirited Federer fightback.

Federer, the world number 3 would have to wait for his 18th major title, yet again.

Djokovic will face world number two, Andy Murray or 14th seed –Milos Raonic in the final.
